The International Society for Horticultural Sciences (ISHS) and the Organizing Committee of the 3rd Balkan Symposium on Fruit Growing (BSFG) are pleased to invite you to attend the most significant event in fruit growing sector in Balkan area that will be held in Belgrade, at hotel “Crowne Plaza”, from 16th to 18th September, 2015.
This Symposium was started in 2007 when the first one was held in Plovdiv (Bulgaria). After that, the second BSFG was organized in Pitesti (Romania). In 2011. Continuing this tradition, under the auspices of ISHS, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade (Serbia) was nominated to host the 3rd Balkan Symposium on Fruit Growing.
This international meeting is mostly intended for researchers from Balkan countries, but researchers from all other counties are also welcome. The aim of this symposium is promoting the communication and cooperation among the researchers, companies and growers.
The topics will focus on the fields of fruit breeding, biotechnology and genetic resources; physiology and ecology of fruit trees; fruit growing technologies; fruit quality, post-harvest and processing; pest and disease management; production economics and management.
The official language of the symposium will be English.
